I am a 3rd generation Albertan. My father's name was also Joseph. His parents were Albert and Alma (Demers). They came to Alberta from Quebec when Alberta became a province in 1905. Just found your site and am excited to trace some family history. I am a fisrt generation american. I am bilingual thanks to my parents insistence so navigating the candian sites is easy for me. My father was from St Gervais, Co Bellechasse.

It is well formated in easy & user end friendly, especially like your News Articles. I will explore more of your interesting site here. Thanks I'm a history buff also, I old old family stories inwhich I have many of the American oldies from elder senior family & friends when they where still with us. Oh, for an English Translator to French & vica versa I've located two excellent ones via the www net. Alta Vista's "BabbleFish" at altavisa.com & the pdf5 from familysearch.org it comes in five languages for famiy genealogy: Chinese, English, French, German, & Spanish.
