Does Cenforce LD Cause Increased Urination At Night?
Cenforce LD (Low Dose), typically containing Sildenafil Citrate 25 mg, is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) by enhancing blood flow to the penis through inhibition of the PDE5 enzyme. While this medication is effective for ED, it is not directly associated with increased urination at night (a condition known as nocturia).
However, some users may experience indirect urinary symptoms for several reasons:
Increased Fluid Intake: Many individuals take Cenforce LD with a full glass of water, and if taken in the evening, this added fluid—especially along with alcohol—may contribute to nocturia.
Underlying Conditions: Men with ED may also have benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or diabetes, which are more commonly associated with frequent nighttime urination.
Mild Diuretic Effect: Though rare, Sildenafil may have a subtle vasodilatory effect that indirectly influences fluid balance, possibly promoting more urination in some individuals.
If you notice consistent nighttime urination after starting Cenforce LD, it's important to evaluate other possible causes with your healthcare provider. It may not be due to the medication itself but rather to lifestyle habits, timing of dosing, or coexisting health conditions. Adjusting the timing of your dose or fluid intake may help alleviate symptoms. |
